Case Studies

Astral Moisturiser

Introducing New Packaging & Launching New Product Range

Following over 60 years of being passed on from mother to daughter, Astral introduced new packaging and added a body wash collection to their range. We worked with them to announce this and distribute sample size products at events and in our beauty boxes. They were also plugged into our events as well as our student outreach events which took place at various universities in the UK.

J Strickland

Engaging Customers In Outer Regions

J Strickland is an 80 year old American company producing ethnic hair and skin care products like Doogro, Blue Magic and African Gold. Following successful distribution in countries like the UK; South Africa; Nigeria and Ghana, we worked with them to help create a presence in these countries by engaging with their target audience on their behalf. We did this using influencers/celebrities; print/online magazine content; TV/videos; events and newsletters.

Introducing African Print Fabric For Wedding Dresses

Vlisco Netherlands has been manufacturing fabric loved by African women especially for their traditional attire since 1846. We worked with Vlisco to introduce bridal looks for religious weddings using their print fabric rather than the typical western white dress. We created editorial content using some of the dresses created with these fabrics, the images and videos created were distributed through celebrity/influencer marketing, social media, videos/ TV, newsletters, print/online magazine as well as our influencer event.

Newinton Consultancy

Building A Clientbase Of Sme’s For New Accounting Firm

We worked with Newinton Consultancy at the start of the business to help build a client base as well as a database of SMEs who could benefit from their consultancy and accounting services targeted at SMEs. We achieved this with the print and digital magazines; newsletter mail out; plugin to our events, as well as bespoke events and digital marketing (PPC and Search Engine Optimisation).

Bringing Back The Synthetic Wig Trend

We worked with WIGGIT on this exciting project to bring back synthetic wigs. We created and distributed content via our social media; print magazine; online magazine; social media/celebrity marketing; youtube and TV shows to highlight the benefits of synthetic hair and how as a ‘real hair’ wearer, you should still add synthetic hair to your collection.

Lunette Menstrual Cup

Building A Clientbase Of Sme’s For New Accounting Firm

We worked with Lunette to promote the advantages of using menstrual cups while also dispelling the typical myths. We engaged influencers who created photos and videos and also shared these to their network: they shared testimonials of their experience using the product and menstrual cups. Lunette also got the chance to educate the young audience at one of our events

Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Ghana

Encourage The Ghanaian Diasporans To Invest In Ghana

We supported the Diaspora Committee to share with the Ghanaian Diaspora about how far Ghana has developed as a nation; the areas where Diaspora contribute in terms of investing; volunteering skills; expertise and resources can further aid Ghana’s socio-economic development, as well as maintain its position as the leading light of West Africa and eventually Africa as a whole.

This roadshow summit took place in Coventry, London, Liverpool, Glasgow and Ghana.

Using our contact in the Oil & Gas and mining industry in the UK and Africa, we helped the client secure a private lunch for 20 Directors of Oil & Gas and mining companies based in the UK with operations in Africa.

This dinner was an excellent way for the guests to network within their sector and discuss the challenges they face working in Africa. This conversation helped the High Commissioners who were present and the Directors alike.

For the client, it was a perfect way to support the industry while meeting with key industry players like the directors, who are their target audience and buyers of their service.
